MA/MBA Dual Degree Programs

Combine your passion for education, your belief in social entrepreneurship and your head for business. Earn an MA/MBA dual degree with an M.A. or Ed.M in Private School Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University and an MBA from either Columbia Business School in NYC or INSEAD, (European Institute for Business Administration) with campuses in France and Singapore.
Students pair either the full-year or two-summers master's degree at the Klingenstein Center with a year of full-time study at either Columbia Business School or INSEAD. The Klingenstein Center program is built around the pillars of instructional leadership, collaboration and teamwork, social justice, reflective practice and ethical behavior. The coursework focuses on sharing knowledge, skills and values essential for exemplary leadership. Students also undertake fieldwork projects and a capstone to learn about leadership firsthand and to apply what they are learning in their classes.
After beginning their master's program at the Klingenstein Center, student apply to either business school for the MBA portion of their degrees. Timelines vary based on the combination of Klingenstein master's program and business school students select.
