Funding Your Education

Both Teachers College and The Klingenstein Center offer various types of need- and merit-based financial aid and scholarships.

Teachers College Financial Aid

Teachers College offers grants, scholarships, federal loans, and federal work-study programs.
All applicants are encouraged to apply online for financial aid through the Teachers College Office of Financial Aid, which serves as an application for both Teachers College and Klingenstein Center funding.

Klingenstein Center Scholarships

The Klingenstein Center works to ensure that as many qualified applicants as possible can attend our programs regardless of their financial circumstances. The Klingenstein Center for Independent School Leadership is made possible by the generosity of the Joseph and Esther A. Klingenstein Family Fund. The Center also enjoys scholarship support from the Klingenstein Fund, the Altman FoundationBarnes Foundation, van Otterloo Family Fund and the Benedict Foundation along with the Scholars Fund, supported through donations by alumni and friends. To gain access to the Klingenstein Center funding, you must complete the Teachers College Financial Aid application.

Tuition Payments

Tuition is charged in five equal installments over the course of the program.

Housing and Living Expenses

Teachers College offers affordable housing options during the summer sessions in New York City. Housing is on a "first-come, first-served" basis; applicants are encouraged to apply for housing immediately upon acceptance to the program. For more detailed information and housing application materials, visit the Teachers College Summer Conference Housing Page. Students may also choose to live off campus with friends or family, or to sublet.
